The lemongrass pork rice noodle was alright. The lemongrass flavor was a little strong for me. Fresh spring roll - pretty good Grilled chicken Banh mi - good Can of Coconut Vietnamese coffee - loved it The prices a little on the high side It's nice that Little Green Cyclo is into the canned vietnamese coffees. I may buy some online on occasions.

All I can say is wow. The food here was absolutely AMAZING! I got the Rice Vermicelli with Chicken. The chicken was cooked so well and the noodles worked with it so well. The greens also offset some of the greasiness of the noodles/chicken so it was great. The portion was also big enough to make me full, so it's perfect for one person. A must-try if you like Vietnamese food! Would go again!

They came out to Bair Island as part of the food truck expo. Saw truck wasn't even hungry.....just ordered the garlic noodles with chicken and kimchi for the hell of it......that's where it all started in a nut shell the dish is just an explosion of flavors. It was so good I ate the entire dish and started to order another one. Needless to say I will now stalk this little green truck and try more dishes next time! If you see it don't hesitate to order the garlic chicken noodles! I can only imagine their sandwiches are even better. They made my night!

Despite seeing them at a number of Off The Grid events over the years, Little Green Cyclo had never been on my list of trucks to try. Not that there was anything wrong with them; I just never had a reason to go. Well, until Presidio Picnic, that is. Thanks to the huge crowds, our plans went from "what do we want to eat?" when we first arrived to "who has the shortest line?" as the day went on. I'm just glad Little Green Cyclo didn't let us down! Although the menu may not be the most interesting or innovative out there, it's still a little different. While most trucks charge you by your dish and allow you to pick whatever protein (barring an upcharge), Little Green Cyclo charges you by your choice of BASE ITEM (jasmine rice, noodles, banh mi, rice vermicelli, salad), PROTEIN (chicken, beef, pork, tofu), and any potential ADD-ONS/SUBSTITUTIONS (egg, brown rice, side salad, Vietnamese kimchi). For my order, I opted to try their: GARLIC NOODLES ($6.50) - Green Onion Oil, Vietnamese Kimchi, and Roasted, Crushed Peanuts with... LEMONGRASS ROASTED PORK ($5.50) - Free Range Pork, Fermented Tofu, Lemongrass, Paprika, Garlic, Shallots, Organic Gluten-free Soy Sauce, and Fish Sauce and a... ORGANIC FREE RANGE EGG ($2.00). Compared to the garlic noodle dish I had from the An The Go truck, Little Green Cyclo's was far more successful. The noodles could've been a little more buttery, but they were cooked well (soft and chewy) and had just the right garlicky flavor. As for the pork, it wasn't super juicy, but the mix of seasonings/flavors was spot on (I especially liked how the lemongrass wasn't overpowering). Plus, the egg was perfect! Too bad they ran out of their Vietnamese Kimchi though, as the acidity would have provided a nice contrast (they subbed in the salad instead). Despite the fact that we were only brought to Little Green Cyclo by their (relatively) short lines, I'm glad that I finally got to check them out. The food may not have overwhelmed, and their garlic noodles may not quite match to my go-to favorite (Perilla), but it's a pretty solid value and they're better than just an "alternative" to waiting in lines for other vendors. THREE AND A HALF STARS easily rounded up.
